Thank You!! ************************************************************* Guild Member Requirements: 1) There are no age or character level restrictions to being a member of the RMG. All players are welcome to join whether they are newbies, or a long-time veteran of the game. There are no fees or other such requirements for being a member of the guild, although in-game donations of gold or items to guild leaders for the benefit of the guild as a whole are completely welcome. 2) All members of the Real Millennium Guild must be actively participating in Guild Wars (GW) game play in any of the current campaigns or future campaigns including Guild Wars 2. Any RMG member who has not been logged into their account for a period longer than 1 year may be removed from the guild, thus losing all current member benefits and privileges. 3) Members must conduct themselves with proper decorum at all times while on-line in the Guild Wars gaming areas and forums, as described in the rules and TOS which oversee all Guild Wars accounts. Although included in the GW TOS, we will reiterate that no member of the RMG is to use profane, or otherwise objectionable language or actions, while in the gaming world. Members are to treat all other Guild Members and non-Guild Members with dignity and respect*. Members who are found to be in violation of the GW TOS or the guild requirements will be removed from the guild, thus losing all current member benefits and privileges, and may be reported to the GW Administrators as necessary. *While competing in Player vs. Player arenas, RMG guild members shall be expected to abide by proper conduct. However, such taunts, insults, and other actions (such as utterly and completely pounding enemy players into a bloody pulp) shall be deemed acceptable behavior - as long as it's in good natured fun. Ganking of players in town who do not use the Trade Channel for buying or selling of items will be expressly permitted and highly encouraged. Ganking will take the form of the /taunt emote, and any RMG member is invited to annouce the hunting down of anyone to be ganked to the general populace so that they may join in. 4) Members are not to conduct in farming for profit, nor are members permitted to engage in any business transaction where virtual game items and currency; tips, hints, and strategies; or other related material is sold for real world value in any forum, whether in an on-line transaction or off-line agreement. Members who are found to be engaging in such behavior will be subject to dismissal from the guild. 5) No member of the RMG is to require in-game compensation as part of any trade or other exchange with another member of the guild. Trades and exchanges are to be conducted so as to conform with the benefits as listed below. 6) Members of the guild must keep a valid e-mail address on file, and must notify the RMG Administration of changes to e-mail address (and snail mail address if on file). Members who cannot be contacted through a valid e-mail address will be subject to dismissal from the guild. E-mail will only be used by the Leader to contact members only in the case that a change to the TOS will affect their membership. The addresses will not be used for any other purpose or mailing, nor will addresses be given, sold, rented, or shared to any other party. 7) These requirements and guidelines are subject to change without prior notice as the RMG administration sees fit. Should any change or addition to the TOS potentially affect a member's eligibility in the guild, notification will be sent to that member(s) regarding the conflict and recommendations made to resolve such conflict. ************************************************************* Benefits of being a member of the Real Millennium Group Guild: 1) Free Trade Need an item to complete a mission or to upgrade your abilities, but can't afford the price of a an merchant or the extortionate player trade? Members can trade with Guild Leaders free of charge!! All members are encouraged to engage in free trade with one another for the benefit of all members and for the greater good of the guild. 2) Guild Rankings and Promotions To honor an recognize successful guild members, everyone has the opportunity to earn titles and recognition within the RMG guild, including promotions in member status as allowed by the GW guild system. 3) Character Stats and Portraits on the Web All active members of the guild can post their character statistics and character portraits MSN Group section of the Real Millennium Group website. 4) Guild Membership Cards Everyone who joins the RMG guild will receive a real world guild membership card. Cards can be e-mailed or snail mailed and will include your choice of character name (if you have more than one in your GW account or multiple accounts), and that character's current ranking within the guild. 5) Benefits may (and probably will) change as time and the guild progresses without prior notice, but any and all changes to guild status and benefits will be posted on the RMG website. ************************************************************* Notes on Trading with Real Millennium Group Leaders & Members To ensure fairness for our Leaders and members, the following will also apply when dealing with in-guild trades: For low value and generally common types of items, you must be a member of the guild for a minimum of one month before you can take advantage of the Free Trading System. Prior to this point, you can be charged the market rate for any item. For high value and rare items, you must be a member for a minimum of three months before being eligible for the Free Trading System. Prior to this point, you can be charged the market rate for any item. Players may be given a max of two low value items without trading another item or gold once per week. High value item limit is one per month. There is no restriction when items are traded for another item or for gold. Guild Leaders have the right to refuse to trade to any member for any reason at any time. Any member who leaves the guild will become ineligible for the Free Trading System. If they re-join, they will remain ineligible for a period of three months, after which the above rules will then apply. Any member who leaves the guild within one month of using the Free Trading System for one or more high value/rare items will permanently be banned from re-applying for membership in the guild. Any abuse of the Free Trading System will result in immediate banishment from the guild and loss of all benefits and priviledges thus earned. This banishment will also be on a permanent basis. ************************************************************* Guild Ranks And Promotions The Guild Wars game allows Guild members to be promoted to Officer and Designated as Guild Leader by the Founder/Leader of the Guild. The Real Millennium Group Guild will carry a maximum number of five officers, and two Designated Leaders other than the Founder/Leader. To be promoted to officer: 1) A player must be a member of the guild in good standing, have been a member for a minimum of six months, and have achieved the Guild Ranking of Councilor. 2) Have completed at least two of any current campaigns at least once. 3) Actively participate in PvP area battles, either with a PvE character or a PvP Only character. 4) Petition the Guild Leaders and Officers requesting a promotion, when a seat is available. Please include a brief statement on why you believe your promotion will benefit the guild. Upon receiving the petition for Promotion to Officer (submit request through the website contact form), the current Leaders and Officers will vote for the approval or denial of the petition. Promotion to Designated Leader will be strictly up to the decision of the Founder/Leader with Officers being allowed to advise the Founder/Leader on the choices. In addition to the Guild Promotions, the Real Millennium Group will have Character Rankings and Player Rankings of its own design for members. Player rankings will be assigned to the person owning the account that has joined the RMG guild. Their promotions within the rankings will be based on their code of conduct while playing the game, adherance to the RMG guild rules, and other factors to be determined by the Guild Leaders and Officers. Players will be notified of any promotions through e-mail. The Player Ranks are as follows: Member - newly joined; part-time player; minimal guild participation Associate - member for min. of three months; casual or hard-core player; semi-active in guild participation. Councilor - member for min. of four months; leans towards full-time player status; actively participates in guild functions. Officer - member for min. of six months; Official GW ranking; can post announcements in Guild UI; voting priviledges for promotions and rules changes. Leader - member for min. of one year; trusted Officer of the guild; Official GW ranking; able to make and accept Guild Battle Challenges. The Character Ranks are as follows: Warrior Ranks - Page; Squire; Marshall; Knight; Master Ranger Ranks - Rogue; Trapper; Hunter; Woodsman; Master Spellcaster Ranks - Novice; Apprentice; Acolyte; Sage; Master Assassin Ranks - Rogue; Minor; Major; Professional; Master Character ranks will be assigned by the Founder/Leader to Characters using the following criteria: Characters in Pre-Searing Tyria: of Level 5 or less = 1st Rank of Level 6-10 = 2nd Rank of Level 11 and above = 3rd Rank Characters in Post-Searing Tyria, Factions, and future chapters: of Level 4 or below = 1st Rank of Level 5-8 = 2nd Rank of Level 9-13 = 3rd Rank of Level 14-19 = 4th Rank Characters in Post-Searing who are Level 20, but not ascended = 4th Rank Once a character reaches Ascension, they will be granted the rank of Master Those that have achieved both Ascension and Weh No Su are considered Grand Masters. PvP only characters will have their ranks based on the amount of Ranks and Fame they have achieved through combat. Breakdowns not yet determined.
